We've been serving delectable meals, coffees, teas, desserts, and award-winning wines in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia for over ten years. Come and enjoy our acclaimed, seasonally changing menu with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. Our team creates dishes that are not only satisfying and delicious but made from the purest ingredients we can find. Our menu changes frequently as local foods are available and the mood strikes!

We also host all types of community arts events, such as film screenings, music performances, literary readings and exhibits, as well as themed dinner evenings. We love being part of the diverse community that makes up this beautiful and historical town, and invite you to visit us and stay a while.

The Biscuit Eater building is the oldest in Mahone Bay (circa 1775) and is architecturally unique. Meander in and browse through our intriguing selection of books for sale by local and international authors.     

We believe that food is the cornerstone of community & we buy local & organic whenever possible. There are no artificial ingredients, unfiltered water or trans fats in anything that we make. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options are available and we are usually able to meet special dietary needs.
